Pina Cincotta Mandarano was born in Lipari and then she moved to Panarea, the Island she immensely loves. Her activity started in 1968 with the opening of a tiny restaurant near "LA PALOMA" port. With only four small tables on a tiny terrace and five pots in the kitchen but much fantasy in the art of cooking, Pina started her "adventure".
In fact, little by little, along with the customers growth, Pina enlarged her activity until moving to the actual Restaurant site, San Pietro, where now she can easily entertain a lot of people.
Pina is considered one of the best cooks in the Eolian archipelago, thanks to her natural talent and her inspiration in preparing always new menus. But Pina's success is also due to her organizing ability and to her extrovert and sunny disposition.
The fabulous Pina has set up a Supermarket nearby her Restaurant and now she can also give accomodation to tourists during their stay in Panarea in her delicious rooms, small villas at "La Caletta", at "Hotel Oasi" or in the hilly small villas of "Panarea Hill". Her fame has crossed not only the Italian confines but also European: Pina is known and appreciated in the whole world.

www.amapanarea.it in order to safeguard the Island against environmental degradation, to improve its structures and intensify its beauty; you can also find a local News-Service there, always up-to-date, as well as a Forum where you can participate.
